Introduction
Our classes provide a friendly introduction to HTML markup language, CSS styles, and the basics of JavaScript. Students will create their own websites and publish them online. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of participation. Our online classes are personalized and interactive, not just another webinar or YouTube course. Each student has direct access to the teacher's screen, with real-time feedback and personalized support. Course program
1Lesson 1: The first website.
The structure of the HTML document will be presented. Each participant will be familiarized with the online Glitch editor. Basic tags will be shown, allowing to add content on the page, such as headers, text and hyperlinks.
2Lesson 2: Graphics and multimedia on the website.
The lesson will show how to add resources from other websites. Pupils will add images, icons, videos, a pdf document and an interactive map to their website. Each participant will create a project "My City".
3Lesson 3: Culinary blog.
Students will prepare a culinary blog project. They will learn about the lists and their types, as well as the CSS language with which they will change the look of their website. Moreover, each participant will import and use in their project selected Google Fonts and Disqus commenting system.
4Lesson 4: Culinary blog - cont.
The aim of the classes will be to continue and expand the project from previous classes.
5Lesson 5: Ranking of phones.
The presentation of data will be done using charts. Students will learn to create and format charts accordingly. Participants will prepare a chart in which they will put together the best phones according to them and place the most important information about the model in the chart.
6Lesson 6: Forms.
The aim of the lesson is to learn how to create forms using different components - text fields, buttons, check boxes, drop-down lists. During the lesson an extensive contact form will be prepared.
7Lesson 7: The student's own website.
In class, students create a page on a topic of their choice, the page should contain as many elements as possible that they have learned so far.
8Lesson 8. My Pupil.
The aim of the lesson is to familiarize yourself with the marker.
9Lesson 9: LEGO Store.
The aim of the classes will be to create a LEGO store information page, containing the logo, banner, favicon, Google Fonts, interactive menu and a subpage with a contact form.
10Lesson 10: LEGO Store - cont.
The aim of the classes will be to continue and expand the project from previous classes.
11Lesson 11. Restaurant.
The aim of the classes will be to create a restaurant website. The site will have separate sections, menus, galleries and a disclaimer with contact and location.
12Lesson 12: Restaurant - cont.
The aim of the classes will be to continue and expand the project from previous classes.
13Lesson 13. Student's own side - quiz.
The aim of the classes will be to continue and expand the project from previous classes.
14Lesson 14. Introduction to JavaScript. Automatic restaurant gallery.
Automatic restaurant gallery. During the classes the restaurant design will be improved. The automatic gallery will be added using JavaScript.
